ONE MINUTE SILENCE Is Back
January 10, 2011Seven years after announcing that they were going their separate ways, three members of the British rap-metal outfit ONE MINUTE SILENCE have reunited and are working on new material. The band's current lineup includes vocalist Brian "Yap" Barry, guitarist Massimo "Massy" Fiocco and bassist Glen Diani alongside new drummer Martin Davies.
Regarding ONE MINUTE SILENCE's current activities and future plans, the band writes on its Facebook page, "[We experienced] an early setback with Massy being hospitalized with swine flu last week, but he's back at home recovering and will be fine in a few weeks. Meanwhile, there are some great mixes in development that are forming a clearer picture of the new sound. We've also got a concept for the first live show, so we're really just working on tracks now until there's enough to showcase live, then we'll announce something."
ONE MINUTE SILENCE's former drummer Edwin Stratton is not involved in the band's reunion because he is reportedly suffering from coeliac disease, an autoimmune disorder of the small intestine.
ONE MINUTE SILENCE's third full-length album, "One Lie Fits All", was released in July 2003 through Taste Media.
